October is Pastor Appreciation Month. We
will be recognizing Bro. Scott and his
family
throughout the month. Sunday School classes
will be coming to the front of the church to
recognize him each Sunday and a luncheon
will be held on October 25th following the
A.M. service in his honor.

Diabetes Education: God blessed us
with life, come hear our speakers and learn
information on how to take care of our
bodies. Come learn how to take care
of
yourself or a loved one who has diabetes,
come and learn what the risks are & how to
lower your risk of developing diabetes.
There are 3 session, each start at 6:00pm
and
last 2 hours.
1st session - September 28,
Dr. Rahn, ETMG Urgent Care Clinic, speaking
on
Prevention and Maintenance
Next sessions are Oct. 5 & Oct. 19th; more
information on these sessions to follow.

GA's - We would like to help support Grace
McGraw, a local North American Missionary.
We want to show God's love by purchasing
items that will help the workers of
Central Park Church, in Birmingham, AL.
Listed below are items needed:
mesh backpacks, pens (black, blue,
red), dictionaries and thesauruses, pocket
folders, loose-leaf paper, binders, copy
paper, pencils, large gem clips

PALS -
Book Study - every Tuesday night @ 6:30-8:00 – This is a great study for us
women with lots of prayer warriors coming out of this. It is always open so if you can't
make it one
week come the next.

Before setting a time and date for any
function in the fellowship hall, please
contact
Donna
Bowerman to make sure that the date is
available and the calendar can be
marked
for all functions.

If you have requested a CD or a DVD of a
service, you may pick up the requested CD
back of the sanctuary.
|
|
Parents, if you have a child between the
ages of 3-5, we would love to have them join
us for Mission Friends every Wednesday night
(including business meeting). The
children will learn about missionary friends
from all over the world. This will also be
an
opportunity for them to develop friendships
with other children.

and submits a monthly report to Gail King
for business meetings, PLEASE send her an

so that a reminder can be sent out every
month.

Service to take extra bulletins
with you. We would like for everyone
attending the services to receive
a bulletin first.
